3. General Information on Data Processing
We process the personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Unless stated otherwise, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website), Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (consent), or Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (initiation of a contract) for the processing described below. Data is deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur. We have entered into a data processing agreement with IONOS pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. IONOS processes on our behalf all data collected when this website is accessed, in particular IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type and version, and the operating system used (server log files).
5. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar and by the fact that the address bar begins with “https://”.
6. Cookies
This website currently uses only technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the site (e.g. WordPress session cookies). No consent is required for these, and the legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Cookies used for external content such as maps (see Section 8) are only set after you have given your consent via our cookie consent banner.
7. Contact Form
A contact form (SureForms) is available on the contact page, which you can use to get in touch with us. The data you enter (name, e-mail address, message) is processed for this purpose. This data is stored exclusively in the WordPress database on our hosting server at IONOS and is not transmitted to third parties or to external servers outside the EU. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (responding to your enquiry) or Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, if the enquiry serves to initiate a cooperation. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Google Maps
On our contact page we embed a map from the Google Maps service to make it easier for you to find our location. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When Google Maps is used, your IP address is transmitted to Google and may be processed on servers in the USA. The map is only loaded after you have given your consent via our cookie consent banner. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings. More information can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
9. Analytics Tools
We do not use any analytics or tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Matomo) on this website. No evaluation of user behaviour takes place.
10. Fonts
This website uses so-called web fonts for the consistent display of typefaces, which are hosted locally. No connection is made to servers operated by Google or other providers, and no data is transmitted to third parties.
11. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
